Over 10 years ago, I had an on-the-job injury and through the years things have progressively gotten worse. On many trips I had medical issues and disliked the idea of asking others to accommodate the girls and I on trips. It does not help when you have a needle phobia and are allergic or photosensitive or do not want to be incoherent by medications. Over the years, it has been hard with medical providers who do not even review my medical records and take a quick look at my appearance and say I look fine. One has to be their own advocate and connect the dots and bring everyone on board because someone drops the ball all the time. I began thinking about what people need to make their lives easier, started designing mobility scooter accessories and hiring welders to produce them. It is the goal of MTI2GO to help make individuals more independent.
